Visits and Stays at the Forest Hermitage (Vihāra by the Forest)

At present, the Forest Hermitage is open to guests visiting during the day.

Future Plans and Current Possibilities

We hope that in the near future we will be able to offer overnight accommodation to enable lay practitioners to stay for several days. At this stage, however, the Vihāra does not yet have suitable facilities.

If you wish to spend more time in the area, you can arrange accommodation in a nearby village. This will allow you to participate in our daily life and support us in the ongoing adaptation work at the Vihāra.

Your help in the development of the Vihāra is invaluable. Physical work is a meaningful form of support, enabling us to gradually transform the hermitage into a place that, in the future, will be able to host those wishing to engage in solitary practice.
