Getting to Jasło

After arriving, you will first need to get to the center of Rzeszów or Kraków from where direct buses and trains go to Jasło daily.

From Kraków

If you arrive by plane, take the train from the station right next to the airport terminal (Kraków Airport) and get off at Kraków Główny station.

There are daily direct connections from Kraków Główny to Jasło station and additional indirect ones via Rzeszów Główny or Tarnów.

It’s also possible to reach Jasło by bus, operated by either San-Bus or Barbara, with both run from MDA Bus station, very frequently:

From Rzeszów

If you arrived at Rzeszów Jasionka Airport (RZE), go to the Jasionka Lotnisko station. From there, you’ll need to take the train to Rzeszów Główny station and then to Jasło station.

Alternatively, you can take bus no. 51 from the Jasionka – Port Lotniczy stop and get off at the Stacja bus stop (located on Bardowskiego Street). From there, walk 3 minutes to the Rzeszów Główny train station.

From Rzeszów Główny station, you have many direct connections daily to Jasło via Pol Regio, which take around 1 hour 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can take Intercity or PolRegio with transfers (for example in Tarnów).

From Jasło to Vihāra

After getting to Jasło, you should go to the main bus station in Jasło and catch a bus to Sadki or Toki, operated by PGZK-JASIEL Sp. z o.o.

When searching for connection, as your destination select Sadki (powiat jasielski, gmina Nowy Żmigród) – in Poland there are many places with that name.

Important

On the weekdays, the buses depart to Sadki from the morning to the late evening. On Saturdays, the connections are limited

On Sundays, the buses do not depart to Sadki, but still do to Toki.
On public holidays, bus services may be reduced or unavailable.
Before your journey, check the current timetable.
Once you reach the bus stop, walk to Vihāra :

• From Sadki – Route from Sadki bus stop to Vihāra (around 20 min – 25 min)
• From Toki – Route from Toki bus stop to Vihāra (around 40 min)

This section of the route has no sidewalk. Please walk on the left side of the road, facing oncoming traffic, and take extra care after dark or when visibility is poor.
